A NIGHT OF SNOW

Kinji has been in the mood for snow with the coming of fall.  So we bundled up!  What better way to celebrate that mood than to go skiing.  That’s right, skiing in Second Life.

You know I tell everyone that everything you can do in real life you can do in Second Life.  That’s one of the great things I love about the metaverse.  Now granted you will never catch me on the slopes rl (real life), but in sl watch out!

 We found ourselves at WOLF MOUNTAIN SKI RESORT.  This sim offers honeymoon suites, winter log cabins, skiing, snowboarding, love suites, tunnel of love, hot air balloon tour, horseback riding trails, and much more!

We found our way to the ski lifts & rode to our destination.  Here you are able to ski solo or as a couple.  We did both.  We also rode an intertube down the slopes which was quite a ride!  We had alot of fun!

 The balloon tour was off da chain!  We were able to see alot of what the resort has to offer.  We even saw a pack of wolves in the natural habitat of the moutainous region.  Kinji & I will definitely spend some cozy nights at this resort.  You can’t go wrong with this as a Christmas gift to someone you love.  Guaranteed to have a merry one here!  Maybe you will run into us on the slopes or on the horsetrail.  Happy Winter Solstice!

NIGHTMARE AT BNC!

Halloween party Bonnie & Clyde Entertainment style was quite the event!  The crowd was out and dressed to impress! 

 

DJ Clyde was on point as usual along with his partner in crime, Bonnie, lol.  I paid tribute, once again, crowned as the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.  Kinji wasn’t able to stay very long for the event and left before I was able to get a picture of her donning her peacock costume.

KINJI’S SURPRISE HONEYMOON!

Yes! Of course the honeymoon was also a SURPRISE! After pulling ourselves away from the reception jam, I whisked Kinji (a.k.a. Kiki) off to a romantic, elegant Roman themed honeymoon suite.

This honeymoon suite was off da chain!  It was equipped with a romantic dinner, couple dancing, roman baths, romantic showers, pool meditation, couples raft,  amazing sunsets, rainbows, and an abundance of romantic hideaways throughout the sim.  We were able to reserve the room for several hours for us to privately enjoy.  It was perfect!  So romantic, peaceful, relaxing, and beautiful!

It’s a good chance that Kinji & I may have been the last couple to enjoy the luxurious honeymoon suite venue.  When I went back a few days later to get some still shots, the sim was being remodeled and I was unable to find a landmark for Everlasting Love.  I did find a landmark by the same creator under the name of Everlasting Love Weddings.  If there Wedding venue is of the same caliber as the honeymoon suites, I’m sure they will not disappoint.

KINJI’S SURPRISE WEDDING RECEPTION!

After Kinji & I exchanged vows, we made our way to the reception area.  We joined our family and friends there. 

 

Champagne, cake, & music put the icing on the cake.  With none other than my sister-in-law Honey Franizzi on the 1’s & 2’s the bride & groom enjoyed their first dance as Mr. & Mrs. Finess Goodman.  I managed to get a handful of songs to Honey right before the wedding to play at the reception and  I must say Honey did the damn thang!!!  I thoroughly enjoyed bitin’ that garter off my baby’s sexy thigh! 

The whole affair was grand and successful!  I must say we were very, very happy to share our moment with such great family and friends.  Thanks to all of you who had a hand in this momentous occasion.  Also many thanks to all in attendance!

KINJI’S SURPRISE PROPOSAL & WEDDING!

Kinji had no idea that a proposal & wedding were awaiting her arrival early Saturday evening, October 17, 2009 at 6pm SLT.  I teleported Kinji to me & the waiting wedding party, family, friends, & guests.  After a few moments I got down on one knee and proposed to her.  She accepted!  She quickly changed into her wedding gown & we proceeded down the aisle together to once again begin our SL journey together as husband and wife. 

Many thanks to my sister-in-law, Honey Franizzi and my sister, Lixena Lamourfou.  The two of them managed to secure a wedding venue with a reception & wedding party attire.  Kinji had no idea she was actually designing and making her own wedding gown & headdress  along with the brides party’s gowns.  The whole plan was sheer genius and everything went off without a hitch.  Oh!… except for the part where I played my part in the surprise a lil too good & Kinji was so upset with me about 15 min before the wedding that she logged off game.  Whew! She returned to game moments later & after some quick apologizing on my part without spoiling the surprise I hurried up and teleported her to the happy event.  All in all everything was great!  Everthing went great!  The whole affair was grand and successful!  I must say we were very, very happy to share our moment with such great family and friends.  Thanks to all of you who had a hand in this momentous occasion.  Also many thanks to all in attendance!

PS.  Normally I would have a link to the wedding venue but at the last moment they displayed unprofessionalism towards Xena with a matter concerning the events thus proving themselves undeserving of a link on this blog.  Lol, too bad for them, they missed an opportunity to secure future patrons.

MICHAEL JACKSON “THRILLER” EVENT

In memory of Michael Jackson, the King of Pop, my sister Lixena (Xena) Lamourfou and I planned an event to be held on the King’s birthday August 29, 2009. 

We went with the “Thriller” theme and thought it would be fun for people to get their ugly on.  Instead of just having an event where you invite any and everyone, I thought it would really be a tribute to invite V.I.P. only.  The V.I.P. list comprised of family and friends but also patrons of our various businesses throughout Second Life. 

Xena designed the perfect invitations for the event which were sent to various individuals and business groups throughout Second Life.  As the event DeeJay she also provided the playlist which was solely music by Michael Jackson.  My wife, Kinji (Kiki) Lockjaw assisted with gift bags and decorating the sim.  All three of us invited various V.I.P. guests & hosted the ghoulish event.  I also provided Michael Jackson trivia for which prizes were given away for correct answers. 

There were 3 gift bags filled with various MJ memorabilia that were hidden in the cemetery for guests to muster the courage to go grab (There were some reports that Michael was spotted in the cemetery dancing along with us).  Three ghoulish dance floors were provided for those smooth MJ moves.  The sim was decorated with skeletons, a grim reaper, a possessed zombie jeep, and various “thriller”-themed canvases on the walls. 

V.I.P. guests did not disappoint.  There were some true die-hard fans who knew alot of trivia about the King.  Also many paid tribute with their fabulous costumes, great dance moves, and expressions of love and admiration for the King and his legacy. 

The V.I.P. event was an all out success!  Many, many thanks to all of you who attended!  Without you the event could not have been the success it was.  For those of you who were unable to attend the event, sadly you did miss the party of a lifetime, but all is not lost.  Kiki and I had so much fun putting the event together that we definitely will hold another themed event in the future one of which will of course be another Michael Jackson gala.  Then you will have the opportunity to redeem yourself, lol.  Also, I have decided to take Kiki up on her suggestion that I open a Michael Jackson store.  So look for that to happen in the very near future.

WATER BABY

Family & friends join Kinji & I as we eagerly anticipate the birth of our prim baby, Honey Amerie.  She was expected to arrive Saturday, August 22, 2009.    The ladies were getting antsy as I was taking longer than they felt I needed to get ready to go to the hospital.  It seems like an eternity from the time labor begins until the time has come to actually meet the doctor at the hospital to have a baby. 

It’s amazing how resilient kids can be in times of stress.  Our daughter, Kat was calm as a butterfly in this room of nervous adults.  Finally, Kinji’s labor progressed to the point of delivery and we all made our way to the hospital.  I don’t know where my mind was thatI didn’t make the connection that I needed to wear the proper attire for a water birth.  I had to grab my gear on the mad dash to the hospital. Upon arrival Kinji gets comfy on the birth ball until time to enter the pool.

After some time on the birthing ball and utilizing lamaze breathing techniques, Kinji is finally dialated far enough to give birth in the pool.  We assume our positions and I continue with coaching her breathing through the contractions.

Finally after what seems like an eternity of “push” “breathe”….the baby’s head begins to crown.  The joy I felt at that moment when I know for a fact Honey  Amerie is coming is just indescribable! 

So after Kiki pushes Honey Amerie fully into this world of water, we all can breathe a sigh of relief & joy!  Everyone excitedly gather around to see the newest miracle born in Second Life.  Both mother and baby are healthy and well!  I proudly present to you, our water baby, Honey Amerie Goodman!    :D

Thanks to our SL God for the health and well being of Kiki and our newest prim baby.  Also thanks to all our family and friends for their support on this most happy and special miraculous day of welcoming our baby into this  world of Second Life.

OH! By the way, after all the coaching and eager anticipation of childbirth….this calls for a cigar! LOL!

CHILLIN’ BEFORE BIRTH

 

After the last of the guests leave the Honey Shower, Kiki and I chill overlooking the beautiful Bay.  This will, afterall, be her last day with child.  Yes, Honey Amerie is scheduled to be delivered by water birth Saturday, August 22, 2009. 

 

As we continue to talk about the happenings of the baby shower, we notice Reeses in the background still doing the Thriller dance, LOL.  She got it honest seeing as I am a big MJ fan & she IS my daughter, lol.
